Harley Acre Filas is a family run kennel. Our dogs are raised in a family environment and are part of the family. The breeding stock at Harley Acre Filas are socialized at a young age and taught basic obedience and manners. We do not produce lunging maniacs. Our Filas are protective, confident and stable. There is a difference between a socialized and non socialized Fila. A socialized Fila has been shown the world around him. He is confident when presented with everyday situations. People mistake a dog showing aggression at the end of a leash as being protective and thats not always true. Most of the time the dog has been locked away from the outside world and is reacting out of fear. By socializing your Fila and teaching him what is expected of him you will have the companionship and loyalty that no other dog out there can give you. The Fila is a dog that adores their family. They want to be with you and they want to please you. We raise our pups in our home and they are socialized from the time they are born. They are used to everyday noises and happenings. They are up to date on all vaccines and wormings and all breeding stock is health screened. You will also receive a Guarantee of Good Health and Health Record with your new pup. Papers registered with the FCPR are also given at the time your pup leaves with instructions on how to send them.
